Stories from the set

The film's depictions of Pooh and his friends combine features of these characters from the Disney cartoons and the stories written by Alan Alexander Milne (1882-1956), as well as the drawings of Ernest Shepard (1879-1976).

Jóhann Jóhannsson was originally set to compose the film's score, but he passed away in 2018 at the age of 48. The end credits include a dedication to Jóhannsson.

The first film in which Owl is voiced by an English actor rather than an American or a Scot speaking with a British accent.
