About the film

The only way to become one of the boys again... is to become one of the girls.

What it’s about

Dave, Adam and Doofer are fraternity brothers who are falsely accused of stealing money meant for their annual cocktail cruise. Kicked out of their dorm, they have nowhere to stay. Their solution is to dress as women and pledge the sorority next door, hoping to keep a roof over their heads and clear their names. Once inside, they must maintain their disguises while navigating sorority life and avoiding exposure.

What hooks you

Barry Watson, Michael Rosenbaum and Harland Williams star as the trio, with Melissa Sagemiller as Leah. The film's tagline promises that the only way to become one of the boys again is to become one of the girls. A production note reveals that Rosenbaum wore a deliberately ugly wig because he was bald for his role in 'Smallville'.

Who it’s for

It is a good pick for those who enjoy broad college comedies with cross-dressing antics and crude humour. It will appeal to viewers who like stories where characters learn unexpected lessons about themselves while stuck in ridiculous situations.

Trivia

  1. Michael Rosenbaum wore a wig on set because for the role of Lex Luthor in the series "Smallville" (2001-2011) he had to go with a shaved head. The actor decided that if he was going to have to wear a wig anyway, it should be as ugly as possible – hence his hairstyle.
