  1. During the destruction of the wall of a Cambodian temple, Daniel Craig stands next to the wall (he is easily recognizable by his shorts), where he should not be, because a few frames earlier he stood by the ropes to help destroy the wall.
  2. The planets shown from various angles illustrate the approach of the Parade of Planets without adhering to real scale.
  3. Although the year is not specified in the film, the real Parade of Planets occurred on May 3, 2000, about a year before the film's release. In the film, the "conjunction" begins on May 15.
  4. The film is based on the video game series «Tomb Raider» (1996 — present).
  5. Lara's pistols in the film are Heckler & Koch USP Match.
  6. In 1998, Brent V. Friedman wrote an unproduced screenplay for «Lara Croft: Tomb Raider». One of the possible reasons was the enormous box-office failure a year earlier of the film «Mortal Kombat 2: Annihilation» (1997), for which Friedman was one of the screenwriters.
