About the film

What it’s about

Twelve-year-old Sasha is sent from Moscow to Pyatigorsk to live with his aunt while his doctor parents work in Africa. At his new school he is bullied and clashes with a local leader named Marat. When a flood leaves his parents missing, Sasha sinks into despair. Searching for stability, he discovers karate, where a strict sensei, Dmitriy, and his daughter Masha help him face his fears and develop inner strength.
