Biography

Kirill Pletnyov was born in the city of Kharkov, Ukrainian SSR, USSR. From early childhood he lived in Leningrad, where he finished school. In 2000 he graduated from the St. Petersburg Theatre Academy, Vladimir Petrov's course. From 2000 to 2003 he was an actor at the Moscow Drama Theatre under the direction of Armen Dzhigarkhanyan. From 2003 he began working with theatre director Irina Keruchenko. Since 2001 he has been actively acting in films.
