According to one of the animators, this animated project was originally supposed to be released by the famous German studio TFC Trickompany Filmproduktion, where "The Adventures of the Famous Cat Detective" (Michael Schaack, 1994) was created. Work on the film began in 2006 but was interrupted in 2010 when TFC Trickompany Filmproduktion declared bankruptcy.
