What it’s about

Battraz Zelimkhanovich lives alone in a mountain village that everyone else has abandoned. A new local official arrives to tell him the settlement will be dissolved, since one person is not an administrative unit, and to get his written consent to move to the city. The old man has no intention of leaving. After reading about Alpine villages that draw millions of tourists, he decides to turn his home into an eco-village. To do that, he needs his son and grandchildren, who are not eager to leave their Moscow lives.
