Maksim Lagashkin graduated from RATI-GITIS (A.A. Goncharov's workshop). He performed at the Mayakovsky Theatre. He made his film debut in 1997 in Karen Shakhnazarov's mystical thriller The Day of the Full Moon. Since 2004, together with Aleksandr Robak, he has been engaged in producing activities (the film Russkoye directed by Aleksandr Veledinsky, the series Poroda (2002) directed by Vyacheslav Sorokin, Medovy mesyats (2003) directed by Oleg Kompasov, and others).
