About the film
What it’s about
Fomich, an adventurous pensioner, longs to mend ties with his children and grandchildren. Since none of them will visit on their own, he pretends to be gravely ill. The family gathers, but old grievances and squabbles surface quickly, making reconciliation far harder than he imagined. When his first plan fails, he tries another.
