What it’s about
Linda Liddle expects a promotion, but the new company president, Bradley Preston, gives the job to someone else. On a business flight to Bangkok, their plane crashes, leaving them the only survivors on a small Thai island. Linda, a fan of survival shows, takes charge, while Bradley must rely on her skills. Their workplace grievances resurface as they struggle to stay alive.

- The lead actors were advised by Kylie Furneaux, a survival expert, actress, and stunt performer. She helped with building shelter and provided the characters with tools. She also taught Rachel McAdams how to start a fire and collect water.
- Director and producer Sam Raimi wanted to work with Rachel McAdams again ever since she appeared in his sci-fi action film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022).
- Reality show host Jeff Probst was approached with an offer to appear on screen in a cameo role. Probst showed interest in the offer, but ultimately had to decline it due to his busy work schedule.
