Aasif Hakim Mandviwala (known by the professional pseudonym Aasif Mandvi; born March 5, 1966) is a British-American actor, comedian, and writer. His television debut was in the episode "Line of Fire" of the series Miami Vice, where he played a bellhop at the Miami Biltmore Hotel. In 2006, Mandvi auditioned for The Daily Show, was immediately hired, and appeared on the show that same day. On August 9, 2006, he began appearing as a freelance correspondent for The Daily Show. On March 12, 2007, he was promoted to a regular correspondent for the program. In October 2013, a segment shown on The Daily Show that included Mandvi's interview with Don Yelton led to Yelton's resignation from his position in the North Carolina Republican Party.

In 2013, he received a supporting role in the FOX romantic comedy Us & Them. Starting in June 2015, he played the role of Rafiq Massoud in the HBO comedy series The Brink. In this project, he also served as a writer and co-producer. In addition, in 2015, he starred, co-wrote, and produced the web series Halal in the Family, which premiered on the Funny or Die platform. In 2016, he joined the documentary project on climate change, Years of Living Dangerously, as one of the celebrity guest correspondents.

Starting in 2017, he played a small supporting role in the Netflix series A Series of Unfortunate Events, playing Montgomery "Uncle Monty" Montgomery, a herpetologist and distant relative of the Baudelaire children. In 2019, he starred in the CBS supernatural drama Evil, playing Ben Shakir, a carpenter working as a technical expert, equipment specialist, and debunker of supernatural phenomena. Among his other supporting roles are appearances in the series Oz, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Tanner on Tanner, The Bedford Diaries, Jericho, Blue Bloods, Younger, and This Way Up. He also hosted the game show Would I Lie to You? (2022).

He has appeared in cameo roles in the films The Siege and Die Hard with a Vengeance. He played a doctor who diagnosed Paul Vitti (Robert De Niro) with panic attacks in Analyze This, and also played Mr. Aziz of Joe's Pizza in Spider-Man 2. He played the tone-deaf bellhop Khan in Music and Lyrics, a dentist (alongside Ricky Gervais) in Ghost Town, Bob Spaulding in The Proposal, and also appeared in the film It's Kind of a Funny Story.
