Animation director, illustrator and cartoonist. His books and comics have been published in countries such as Spain, France, Italy, Brazil and Korea, and his illustrations have appeared in magazines and newspapers around the world.

He wrote and directed the animated short films "Birdboy", "The Unicorn's Blood" and "Decorado", based on his own comics.

He has just completed his first feature film, "Psychonauts", on which he served as director, screenwriter and production designer, and which he based on his own graphic novel of the same name.

His work has been honored with three Goya Awards (Best Animated Film and twice Best Animated Short Film), and he has received more than 100 awards at international events such as Annecy, the Platino Awards, Chicago, Foyle, the Silver Méliès and Expotoon. His work has been shown at prestigious festivals around the world, such as Cannes, the EFA Awards, Toronto, Annecy, Clermont-Ferrand, Animafest Zagreb and Slamdance.
