Ali Suliman was born in 1977 in Nazareth, Israel. His interest in dramatic arts led him to the prestigious Acting School in Tel Aviv, from which he graduated in 2000. After completing his studies, he joined the theater group Commedia dell'arte — a mask theater in London. Ali decided to broaden his horizons within drama by taking a position as an acting teacher at the RAHAT community center.

After working in the Negev, Ali appeared in award-winning films such as Paradise Now (winner of the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film and an Oscar nominee for Best Foreign Language Film) and The Syrian Bride. He also appeared alongside Jamie Foxx and Jennifer Garner in the critically acclaimed action thriller The Kingdom.

Among his upcoming projects is the political thriller Body of Lies from legendary director Ridley Scott.
