Cooper Tomlinson began his career as an actor, writer, and producer, making short films while still in high school. After starring in and producing the film "Aberdeen" (2019), Cooper packed his bags and headed to Los Angeles, briefly enrolling in the New York Film Academy, where he met Curry Barker. They both dropped out and together created the web series "Roommates" and the comedy sketch channel on social media "That's a Bad Idea," which gathered over 1.5 million followers on TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram and more than 150 million views.

In 2022, Tomlinson produced and starred in the mockumentary thriller "Milk & Serial" (2024), directed by Barker. He can be seen in Phil Gorn's pandemic romantic comedy "The Wall Between Us" (2024).
