In 2004 he graduated from SPbGATI (V. Pazi's course). From 2000 to 2007 he worked at the Lensovet Theater. Before his "official" debut - the role of Sarafanov in the play "The Elder Son" based on Vampilov's play (directed by Yu. Butusov) - as a student he took part in productions of the main repertoire - Shaw's "We'll Live and See" and Myslivsky's "The Thief".

In 2007 he was invited to the Alexandrinsky Theater. His debut on the Alexandrinsky stage was the role of Yakov Petrovich Golyadkin in the play "The Double" based on F.M. Dostoevsky's poem (directed by Valery Fokin).
