Biography

Everett Blunck is an actor from Montana who was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Lead as a teenager and landed his first role in a feature film (uncredited) in the Western "Murder at Yellowstone City" (2022), in which he appeared alongside Gabriel Byrne, Thomas Jane, Isaiah Mustafa, Anna Camp, Nat Wolff and Richard Dreyfuss under the direction of Richard Gray. Blunck's first big-screen work was a supporting role in director-producer Brett Donowho's Western "The Old Way" (2023) with Nicolas Cage, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, Noah Le Gros, Clint Howard, Nick Searcy and Shiloh Fernandez, released by Saban Films.

Blunck took a supporting role in director and co-writer Rod Blackhurst's independent drama "Blood for Dust" (2023) with Scoot McNairy, Josh Lucas, Kit Harington, Stephen Dorff and Ethan Suplee, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival ahead of its release by The Avenue. Blunck was cast in director, writer, producer and star Mario Van Peebles's Western "Outlaw Posse" (2024) with William Mapother, John Carroll Lynch, D.C. Young Fly, Mandela Van Peebles, Amber Reign Smith, Neal McDonough, Edward James Olmos, Cedric the Entertainer, M. Emmet Walsh and Whoopi Goldberg, released by Quiver Distribution.

Everett Blunck earned significant critical praise for his first leading — and first title — role in director and writer Nicholas Colangelo's coming-of-age comedy-drama "Griffin in Summer" (2024) with Owen Teague, Abby Ryder Fortson, Kathryn Newton and Melanie Lynskey, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival (where the film won Best U.S. Narrative Feature, Best Screenplay and a Special Mention for Best Director) and was released by Vertical. Blunck joined the cast of director and writer Joel Souza's Western "Rust" (2024) with Alec Baldwin (who also co-wrote the story and produced), Josh Hopkins, Patrick Scott McDermott, Frances Fisher and Travis Fimmel, but the film flopped at the box office (through Falling Forward Films) due to the widely reported accidental shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on set.

Blunck's second leading role was in director and writer Charlie Polinger's acclaimed psychological drama "The Plague" (2025) with Kayo Martin, Kenny Rasmussen and Joel Edgerton (who also served as producer), which premiered in the Un Certain Regard competition at the Cannes Film Festival and was then released widely by Independent Film Company.
