Biography

Holt Boggs was born and raised mostly in Houston, Texas. The son of a geologist, he traveled the world with his family for several years, living in Africa, Indonesia, Singapore, and Jakarta before returning to Texas. Soon after, his parents divorced, and he and his younger brother moved back to Houston to live with their mother.

Always a class clown, Holt was first drawn to sketch comedy, and his ultimate goal was to land a role on the TV show "SNL." He took the stage performing stand-up at local comedy clubs before auditioning and being accepted into a two-year conservatory program in Dallas.

While studying, Holt took on any plays, commercials, and short films to gain experience. Frustrated by the lack of film work in Dallas, he co-wrote and produced the independent thriller "Whiz Kid." The success of that international independent film made Holt in demand around the world, where he worked with some of the biggest names in the industry. Holt has since moved to Los Angeles, where he has worked on numerous television and film projects.
