Jodie Foster

Jodie's acting career began at the age of three, when she started appearing in commercials and television series. In the 1970s she appeared in several films from Walt Disney Studios. Jodie's big-screen debut was the film "Napoleon and Samantha" (1973). In 1974 she appeared in Martin Scorsese's film "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore."

For her next role as an underage prostitute in Scorsese's film "Taxi Driver" at the age of 14, Jodie was nominated for an Academy Award.

In 1988 Jodie played the lead role in the film "The Accused," for which she received the Academy Award and the Golden Globe.
