Born on June 13, 1943 in Leeds, Yorkshire, Great Britain.
Real name is Malcolm John Taylor.
As a teenager, he worked in one of the Liverpool bars owned by the father of the future actor.
He studied at Cannon College, then for some time worked as a traveling salesman selling coffee drinks. This fact from his biography would later be used in the film "O Lucky Man!".
