Mark Duplass is an American director, film producer, actor, and screenwriter. He was born on December 7, 1976, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is the brother of director Jay Duplass. He is the lead singer of the rock band Volcano, I'm Still Excited!!. Duplass is one of the founders of the mumblecore genre.
