💥Maurice Joseph Micklewhite, better known as Michael Caine. Born in London, UK. Grew up in a family with a younger brother. His father worked as a fisherman on a barge, and his mother was a cleaner. He studied at Wilson's School. He works as an actor, producer and writer. Since 1973, he has been married to model Shakira Baksh; the couple has a daughter, Natasha.

After his mother's death, he learned that he had an older brother, David (died in 1992), who suffered from a severe form of epilepsy and had been in a psychiatric hospital the whole time.

Real name - Maurice Joseph Micklewhite. Early in his acting career he used the stage name Michael Scott, but later changed his surname to Caine. The pseudonym was chosen completely by chance: during a conversation with his agent in a phone booth. Turning around, he saw a poster for the film "The Rising of the Caine" (1954) and without thinking named that name.

The actor did not finish school, being forced to go to work. And then he went as a soldier to the war in Korea, where he landed in the thick of it and miraculously survived.

In July 2016 he officially changed his name to Michael Caine to make going through customs checks at airports easier.
