Timur Batrutdinov is a Russian comedy actor and TV host. At the age of six he entered the Voronovskaya general education school. After school he enrolled at Saint Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance in the Faculty of Labor Economics and Personnel Management, from which he graduated in 2000. After graduating from the university he was called up for a year of compulsory service in the signal troops. At the university student club he took part in numerous amateur skits, played for the KVN team of FinEk, and wrote scripts for the combined KVN team of Saint Petersburg.

After serving in the army he worked in Moscow at PSA Peugeot Citroën in his specialty, from which he resigned due to an offer to take part in the KVN team "Nezolotaya Molodyozh". Since 2005 he has taken part in the TV project Comedy Club on the TNT channel, where he performs in a duo with Garik Kharlamov, who also played for the "Nezolotaya Molodyozh" team. He was the most popular Comedy Club resident for 2009 according to the People Choice website.
