Biography

Nonna Grishaeva first appeared in a film at the age of 5 - in the film "Photographs on the Wall". She played her first leading role at the age of 10 at the Odessa Operetta Theatre. She studied at the Odessa Ballet School and a music school in the piano class. In 1994 she graduated from the Boris Shchukin Higher Theatre School (course of V.V. Ivanov). Then she received job offers from three Moscow theatres at once - Lenkom, Satirikon and the Vakhtangov Theatre. From 1994 Grishaeva worked in the troupe of the Vakhtangov Theatre. After leaving the theatre she performs in productions of the Theatre of the Film Actor and the Quartet I Theatre. She worked as a DJ at the radio station Silver Rain. In 1996 she appeared in the film "First Strike" with Jackie Chan. In the late 1990s - early 2000s she took part in the humorous programme "Bis" by Vasily Antonov and Alexander Tolokonnikov. In 2004 Grishaeva received her first leading role in the play "Mademoiselle Nitouche". In the same year the actress auditioned for the leading role in the sitcom "My Fair Nanny", but declined participation in favour of "Mademoiselle Nitouche", although later she was still a guest star in one of the episodes, playing the sister of the main character. From 2005 to 2006 she had a supporting role in Tatyana Dogileva's sitcom "Lyuba, Children and the Factory". After it was closed she got a role in another STS channel sitcom, "Who's the Boss?". From 31 December 2008 to 30 April 2013 she played one of the main roles in the popular STS sitcom "Daddy's Girls". In 2006 she received the title of Honoured Artist of Russia.

In 2008 Nonna Grishaeva became a regular actress of the troupe of "Big Difference". Chance helped her get there. According to Grishaeva, at one of the concerts she and Alexander Oleshko had to improvise, entertaining the audience because other artists were late. The improvisation turned out well. And the actors decided to approach the producer of "Big Difference", Alexander Tsekalo, who, without hesitation, took Grishaeva and Oleshko into the troupe. In 2009 Nonna Grishaeva, together with singer and composer Mark Tishman, became the winner of the third season of the First Channel music competition "Two Stars". On 3 March 2010 she presented her book "Advice to Daughters" at the Moscow House of Books. The book went through two reprints, and its total circulation was 25 thousand copies. According to RBC magazine, Grishaeva's income from this project could have amounted to about 250 thousand rubles. In 2011 she voiced the main character of the American animated film "Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil". From 4 September 2011 to 6 January 2012 her own comedy show "Nonna, Come On!" aired on the First Channel. Also in 2011, on the Dozhd TV channel she performed her new song "Tango". Before that Nonna had already released her songs ("Again the Night", "Summer", "A Sprig of Lilac", "Falling Upward", "Plane Tree Paradise", "Comme toi"). On 21 July 2012 she released her first solo album. In February 2012 the project "Two Stars-3" began, where Nonna Grishaeva became the host together with Dmitry Nagiyev.
