What it’s about

A peaceful village is shattered when a local man, Vasily, is found dead on a riverbank after a fishing trip with his 12-year-old daughter, Dasha. The girl is found nearby with a head injury and a gun beside her, and the evidence suggests she accidentally shot her father. Village paramedic Lera, however, does not believe this version. She takes on the task of caring for Dasha and, with the help of local policeman Mikhail, begins to investigate what really happened. As Lera gets to know the villagers better, she realizes that many of them had reason to wish Vasily dead.

The series is directed by Anton Bormatov and features Varvara Feofanova as Lera, Ilya Malakov as Mikhail, and Gela Meskhi as Nikita. The cast also includes Darya Ursulyak and Vera Chernyavskaya. Filming took place in Moscow and the Yaroslavl region.
