Biography

Alexander Lazarev (Jr.) was born in Moscow, RSFSR, USSR, into the family of actors Alexander Lazarev Sr. and Svetlana Nemolyaeva. In 1990 he graduated from the Vladimir Nemirovich-Danchenko School-Studio (higher education institution) at the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater (course of A.A. Kalyagin) and was accepted into the troupe of the Lenkom Theater, where he quickly became one of the leading young actors. People's Artist of Russia (2007).
