Pierce Brosnan is a British and American actor and producer of Irish descent. He played James Bond in four films: GoldenEye (1995), Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), The World Is Not Enough (1999), and Die Another Day (2002). He has been an Honorary Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) since 2003. In 1981, Brosnan got a role in the American television series The Manions of America, through which he gained popularity. Brosnan moved with his family to the United States.
