Thinley Lhamo is a Nepali-Tibetan actress known for her critically acclaimed roles in Nepali cinema. She gained international recognition for her role as Pema in the film Shambhala (2024), Nepal's official submission for the Academy Award and an official selection of the 74th Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale). She began her creative journey at the Nepali-Tibetan Opera Association, where she built a solid foundation in traditional stage performance.

After honing her acting skills under the guidance of renowned theater figure Anup Baral, she landed the lead role in Shambhala, which was filmed amid the breathtaking and remote landscapes of Dolpo in Nepal.
