Biography
Thomas Jane
American theater, film and television actor, as well as director, producer, screenwriter and writer. Three-time Golden Globe nominee. Best known for his roles in such famous films as The Mist, Thursday, Original Sin and Deep Blue Sea.
Born on February 22, 1969 in Baltimore (Maryland, USA) to Michael and Cynthia Elliott. The surname Jane, which Thomas took later, was his mother's maiden name. After finishing school in 1987 he went to Hollywood in the hope of becoming an actor. Having no roof over his head, at first he lived in his own car and earned money by street performing: "In my repertoire there were two songs that I played to death — 'Hey Joe' and 'Knockin' on Heaven's Door.' People threw change at me just to make me shut up."
Thomas Jane's acting career began in 1987 with the Tollywood romantic comedy Padamati Sandhya Ragam, in which Jane played one of the main roles.
