Die Hard (Collection)

Die Hard is a series of American action films started in 1988. The first film was directed by John McTiernan, based on Roderick Thorp's novel Nothing Lasts Forever. The script was originally written as a sequel to the film Commando. However, Schwarzenegger turned down the role and the script was reworked for a new protagonist and renamed. In the USSR in the late 80s, the film was shown in video salons in translations by Vasily Gorchakov and Leonid Volodarsky under the title Die Hard, but with Dignity, and also in a translation by Andrey Gavrilov under the title Indestructible.
