Book Adaptations

This thematic collection brings together series adapted from novels, short stories, comics and literary classics, focusing on the many ways prose and panels can be reshaped for the screen. The titles gathered here span drama, horror, fantasy and melodrama, showing how source material moves across tones and genres while keeping a clear connection to its written origins. All of the included series were released in 2011. Among the examples is "The Secret Circle", which illustrates how a single year can hold several approaches to adaptation within the collection.
