Stories from the set

The police headquarters was actually filmed on the grounds of a university campus. Before filming began, students and staff were sent SMS messages about the presence of police on campus and that there was no cause for concern.

The dog that played Rex was named Diesel von Burgimwald; in August 2024 he died during the filming of season 7, which led to a pause in work on the project. The role of Rex passed to the deceased dog's relatives (nephews) – Dillon and Dante.
