About the series
The key to the future lies in the past.
What it’s about
In a toxic future, ten thousand people live inside a silo that runs 144 storeys below the surface. They believe the outside world is dead and that leaving means certain death. Their only view of the wasteland comes through screens fed by external cameras. When the sheriff breaks the cardinal rule and residents begin dying mysteriously, engineer Juliette Nichols starts asking questions no one is supposed to ask.
Who it’s for
It will appeal to those who like dystopian settings where information is controlled and every answer leads to a bigger question. It will suit viewers who enjoy slow-burning mysteries with a strong central performance and a claustrophobic, paranoid atmosphere.

Trivia
- The helmets people wear when going to the surface are almost identical to the space suit helmets from Stanley Kubrick's science fiction film 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968).
