About the series
What it’s about
Song Xingchen is a 29-year-old doctor who cares more about her appearance and fashionable clothes than her work. At a dinner celebrating her promotion, she shocks her colleagues by announcing her resignation. She wants to live on her own terms, not the path her family set for her. Soon after, she witnesses a man fearlessly save a dog stranded on a decorative ledge high above the ground. Later, their paths cross again on a blind date, and then in a rescue team. The man turns out to be Su Qingche, the determined leader of that team.
What hooks you
Director Chung Shu-kai brings a story based on a novel to the screen, with Gulnezer Bextiyar as Song Xingchen and Xu Kaicheng as Su Qingche. The series has 26 episodes and was produced in China in 2023.
Who it’s for
It suits viewers who enjoy light romantic tension between strong-willed characters, and those who like stories about starting over and unexpected connections.
