- Saul's yellow car is a Suzuki Cultus Crescent sedan, produced from 1995 to 1998. It is known as the Suzuki Esteem in the US and as the Suzuki Baleno in Europe, Asia, and Australia.
- In the early stages of production, the series was planned as a 30-minute comedy, but ultimately it was decided to change it to an hour-long format.
- The first episode of "Better Call Saul" drew an audience of 6.9 million viewers. In the entire history of the AMC channel, only the first episode of the television series "Fear the Walking Dead" (2015) has drawn a larger audience (10.1 million viewers).
- The AMC channel announced in June 2014 that the series had been renewed for a second season, more than 7 months before the premiere of the pilot episode.
