Stories from the set

The series is based on the story of a real person, the Soviet swindler and card sharp from Odessa Anatoly Barbakaru. He was placed on the all-Union wanted list. Eventually he was arrested and released in the 1990s, after which he «went straight» and became a writer, singer and TV presenter.
