What it’s about

In the village of Krasny Kamen, three seventh-graders spend their holidays swimming and lazing. Roma, Asya and Gordey's carefree days end when Roma, diving in a flooded copper quarry, surfaces with a malachite nugget. The stone gives him a startling power: whatever he draws becomes real. Yet the quarry also held a darker presence, and the find sets free the ancient spirit of the Black Raven mine. This being can grant any wish, but its price is far too high. The friends must now resist an evil older than the village itself.

Aleksandr Boguslavskiy directs a cast led by Ekaterina Temnova as Asya, Alexey Rodionov as Roma, and Sergey Chikin as Gordey. The production filmed in Tver Oblast and made an expedition to the Maykop District of Adygea. Its working title was "Red Lake".
