What it’s about

Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler leave Montana behind, gambling on a fresh start in South Texas. They take over a 7,000-acre cattle ranch and hope to make it a home for themselves and their adopted son Carter. The promise of a clean slate is short-lived. A neighbouring ranch sees their arrival as a threat and moves to crush them. Old rules no longer apply, and the couple must decide how far they will go to defend what is theirs.
