In Moscow and St. Petersburg, an exclusive production has run for a year: each performance has a single audience member who pays millions for a show that dissolves the boundary between fiction and reality. The twelfth event unfolds in a mansion built in the middle of a forest, far from civilization, with the spectator flown in by helicopter. But this time the script breaks down and one of the actors dies. The troupe, administration, and lone viewer are cut off from the outside world, and a new unplanned drama begins, driven by human vices and each person's responsibility for themselves and the fate of those around them.
