Biyografi

Glyukoza (the name is also stylized as Gluk'oZa, real name - Natalya Ilyinichna Chistyakova-Ionova; born in Moscow) is a Russian pop singer, film and voice actress, TV presenter, winner of the MTV EMA 2003 award. Her debut album 'Gluk'oZa Nostra' became an international hit, and the singles 'Nevesta' and 'Nenavizhu' topped the charts in Russia and Ukraine. In open sources there is information that the singer's birthplace is the city of Syzran, but according to the singer herself and her PR manager this is not true, and the myth about Syzran was part of Gluk'oZa's PR campaign and the legend for the emergence of a new artist on the music market. In 1993, at the age of seven, she entered a music school in the piano class, but dropped out after a year. As a child she attended many school clubs, from chess to ballet. Natalya entered Moscow secondary school No. 308, where she studied until the 9th grade. At the age of 11, Natalya auditioned for participation in the children's TV magazine 'Yeralash' on Channel One. In the following years Natalya participated in several episodes of the TV magazine, including 'Poganki' in 1997. For the episode 'Unpleasant News' Natalya was approved without casting. In the same year Natalya starred in the music video of the group 7B 'Young Winds'. Music producer Maxim Fadeev came up with a new project with a simple musical form and a 'cartoon' voice.

The first single 'Shuga' for the project was composed by the producer on his son Savva's children's synthesizer, recalling a hurdy-gurdy melody heard in childhood. Following the first song, Fadeev composed several more compositions: 'Nenavizhu', 'Malysh', 'Nevesta'. About a month later Fadeev handed Alexander Kushnir promo versions of the first five compositions. This maxi-single included 'Glukoza nostra', 'Asta la vista', 'Malysh', 'Nevesta' and 'Shuga'. On the trial demo recordings the producer himself sang, as well as his wife. In April the producer from Prague sent the first single of the album 'Shuga' to Russian radio stations, which refused to put it on air. Later, in a press release, the production center stated that the single 'Shuga' was not noticed on radio 'because of the pre-New Year bustle'. For this reason, they decided not to release the animated video for the debut single, but to rework it for the second single 'Nenavizhu'. The image of Glyukoza in the videos - a girl with pigtails and glasses, was created in the 'Mukha' studio from Ufa with the participation of Maxim Fadeev. Only after the creation of the image was Natalya Ionova invited by Maxim Fadeev to the project.
