What it’s about

- At the very end of the film, when Stark blows up all his suits, no fragments fly off them (that is, the suits simply evaporate).
- At the end of the film, the main villain melts Stark's robot suit in half with a blow of his hand. According to rough estimates, the temperature of this hand must repeatedly exceed the temperature of the sun's core, that is, 15,000,000 degrees Celsius. Such heat would have killed all living things within a radius of a couple dozen kilometers.
- In the Mandarin's hideout, after being interrogated by Colonel James Rhodes, Tony and James step aside to talk about how to get to the port. During the interrogation, Tony Stark's wound was under his left eye. But during the conversation with the colonel, it was under his right eye.
- The vice president's phone changes during the conversation with Tony Stark when the shot changes — first the vice president's phone has a camera with a flash in the middle of the body, in the next shot the phone has a camera without a flash on the left side of the body.
- Iron Man was created by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber, Don Heck, and Jack Kirby in 1963 in the comic Tales of Suspense, #39.
- Gemma Arterton, Diane Kruger, and Isla Fisher were considered for the role that ultimately went to Jessica Chastain. However, due to scheduling conflicts, Chastain later had to drop out of the film. She was replaced by Rebecca Hall.
