What it’s about
Damien Sachs is a charismatic, self-centered advertising executive on the verge of becoming CEO. He is used to getting whatever he wants. One day he wakes up in a parallel world where women hold all the power. To return to his own reality, he must work his way up from a junior role and somehow become the agency's director.
What hooks you
Sacha Baron Cohen plays Damien, and he trained in the gym specifically to make his body more appealing for the parallel world scenes, which he felt added to the comic effect. Rosamund Pike consulted with costume designer Lauren Reyhani to develop her character's body language in that world. The idea to show the characters' homes in the same location but with strikingly different interiors came from operator Haris Zambarloukos.
Who it’s for
It is a good pick for those who enjoy comedies that turn social norms upside down and relish watching an arrogant protagonist get his comeuppance. It will appeal to viewers who like absurd premises and sharp satire on gender roles.

- Glenda in the film is played by Kathryn Hunter. At one time she taught at the French theater school Ecole Philippe Gaulier, where Sacha Baron Cohen, who played the main character, studied.
- Sacha Baron Cohen admitted that he specifically worked out in the gym while preparing for the role. He wanted to make his body more attractive for the scenes with the parallel world. Usually the actor did not attach much importance to his appearance, but for this role he decided to change his look. This enhanced the comic effect he wanted to create.
- The idea of showing the homes of the characters played by Rosamund Pike and Sacha Baron Cohen as located in the same place but with interiors noticeably different from each other belonged to cinematographer Haris Zambarloukos.
- While working on the body language of her character in the parallel world, Rosamund Pike consulted with costume designer Lauren Rehani.
