Biography
Aleksey Chadov was born on September 2, 1981 in Solntsevo, Moscow Oblast (now part of Moscow). Russian theater and film actor, director. Father - Aleksandr Chadov. He died in 1986 as a result of an accident while working at a construction site (a concrete slab fell on him). Mother - Galina Petrovna, an engineer. Older brother - actor Andrey Chadov. Aleksey Chadov and his brother Andrey were raised by their mother Galina Petrovna, who has nothing to do with cinema. All the worries of raising the brothers fell on her after the head of the family died when Aleksey was 5 years old. During his school years he studied in a children's theater club and a children's theater. His first role on stage was a hare in Yevgeny Schwartz's fairy tale "Little Red Riding Hood". Aleksey's debut role was minor, but for it the aspiring actor received the "Laureate" prize and was also awarded a trip to Antalya. He was actively involved in sports - acrobatics, fencing, swimming, boxing. "From the age of ten I cultivated a sporting character in myself. That is why my body is ready for any experiments," he said. After finishing school, Aleksey Chadov entered the M. S. Shchepkin Theater School, in Vladimir Prokhorovich Seleznev's class. In 2003 he graduated from the Higher Theater School named after M. S. Shchepkin together with his brother Andrey. He worked on television: 2003-2005 - Pro Kino (Muz TV channel), 2008 - "The Ermine's Dance". Already during his student years Aleksey Chadov began building his film career. The first film in which Aleksey appeared was "War" by director Aleksey Balabanov. After the release of this film, enormous popularity fell upon Chadov. Thanks to his role in this film, Aleksey was awarded the prize of the Montreal International Film Festival in the "Best Actor" category. The success of "War" raised a wave of interest in the actor among directors as well. Soon the actor starred as Kolya Malakhov in the film "On an Unnamed Height". In 2003 Aleksey Chadov was invited by director Andrey Proshkin to play the lead role of Kostya Zotikov in the drama "Games of Moths". In the same 2004 Aleksey Chadov played another very notable role - the vampire Kostya in the blockbuster "Night Watch".
He appeared in such popular films as "9th Company", "Heat", "Love in the Big City". For the sake of filming in the movie "The Hammer", where Aleksey Chadov plays a martial arts master fighting not only for the love of Oksana Akinshina's character but also with an injury, he trained for eight months with professional Melvin Manhoef. In 2020, Egor Baranov's film "The Outpost" was released, in which Chadov played one of the main roles. In the same 2020, Chadov made his debut as a screenwriter and director with the feature film "My Own War", in which the main character Ivan goes to Syria under the guise of a foreign war correspondent named John. On February 6, 2012, he was officially registered as a trusted representative of the candidate for President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin. The actor had quite a few high-profile romances. At one time he dated Oksana Akinshina, then Anastasia Zadorozhnaya. From 2006 to 2009 he was in a relationship with Russian actress Agnia Ditkovskite, whom he met while working on the film "Heat". A few years later, on the set of the series "A Matter of Honor", Aleksey and Agnia began dating again, and at the end of August 2012 they married. On June 5, 2014, the couple had a son, Fedor. In July 2015, it became known that they had separated.
