Born in Germany to a German mother and a Spanish father. Elena began performing as a child in productions such as "Return to Neverland" and "The Nutcracker."

However, it was only while studying at Cornell University that Elena seriously considered a career in the entertainment industry and began studying dramatic arts. After graduating, Elena moved to New York and continued her training at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.

A short period in Florida brought Elena her first leading role in a professional theater production and several leading roles in short films. Since then she has appeared in more than 15 feature films and returned to her studies at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
