Biography
Til Schweiger
His career began with a small role in the series "Lindenstrasse." He then worked as a dubbing artist, voicing various films, including XXX-rated films.
In 1989 he was invited to work at the Contra-Kreis-Theater in Bonn.
World fame came to the actor with the film "Knockin' on Heaven's Door," for which he was awarded the prize of the Moscow Film Festival 1997 for Best Actor. He is also known for his roles in the films "Where Is Fred?", "Inglourious Basterds," and "This Means War." Til Schweiger is also known as a director; his famous works include such well-known films as "Barefoot on the Pavement," "Rabbit Without Ears," "Rabbit Without Ears 2," and "Honey in the Head."

After graduating from school, Til followed in his parents' footsteps and enrolled in the German studies faculty, but soon dropped out. After that he decided to devote himself to medicine, but that attempt was also unsuccessful. A girlfriend who attended a theater school convinced Til that he had outstanding acting talent and encouraged him to enroll in a theater school in Cologne called "Der Keller" (German: basement). After 3.5 years he successfully graduated from the school.
