Icelandic actor, screenwriter and producer. He gained fame for his roles in the films K-19, Angels of the Universe, as well as for the role of Anatoli Boukreev in the film Everest.

Ingvar has been awarded the Edda Award for Best Actor six times — in 1998, 2000, 2004, 2006, 2007 and 2014, including for his role in the film Angels of the Universe. Also in 2000 he won the audience award at the European Film Awards for his role in the film Angels of the Universe.
