About the series
What it’s about
Major Elizaveta Kiver is assigned to the town of Krasnov to run its police department. The district has been without firm leadership for a long time: detectives are lazy and cynical, the duty officer sleeps on the job, and the crime clearance rate keeps dropping. Kiver is charismatic and strong-willed, though also vulnerable, and she never gives up. From her first days she realizes her subordinates are a peculiar group: one detective constantly battles sobriety, another is a cunning schemer always looking to make extra money, and a third is a romantic driver-handler without a dog. Their actions cause endless disasters and absurd situations, yet gradually this mismatched team starts to feel like a family.
What hooks you
Marina Fedunkiv plays Major Kiver, with Maksim Lagashkin also in the cast. The series is billed as a comedy featuring a "spectacular duo" of Fedunkiv and Lagashkin, and it comes from the TNT channel.
Who it’s for
It suits viewers who enjoy workplace comedies where a determined boss faces off against a chaotic team, and who like character-driven humor rooted in everyday absurdity.
