Biography
Yuliya Nikolaevna Topolnitskaya is a Russian theater and film actress. She was born into the family of Nikolay and Nadezhda Topolnitsky. Her mother works as a doctor in a children's home. Her father is a private entrepreneur. She has an older brother. From the age of 12 she studied ballet and dreamed of an acting career. In 2014 she graduated from the St. Petersburg State Academy of Theatrical Arts (workshop of Boris Uvarov). In 2014 she began working at the St. Petersburg clown theater "Litsedei". She worked there for two years. In April 2016, the artistic director of "Litsedei" announced to the entire young troupe that they had not seen eye to eye with him on the creative path, and all were fired. In 2015, together with Aleksey Shamutilo, she took part in the project "Comedy Battle"; the pair only made it to the second round.
She gained wide fame in January 2016 by appearing in the music video of the group "Leningrad" for the song "Exhibit". She was approved for the lead role in the video after the first audition. Later she appeared in the videos "Siski" (2016) and "Kolshchik" (2017), and also appeared in the video for the song "Badly Dancing" by the group "IOWA". In December 2016 she appeared as a guest in the 191st episode of the show "Comedy Woman". In 2017 she played one of the main roles in the comedy series "You All Infuriate Me!". In 2017 Yuliya Topolnitskaya became a new member of the comedy show "Once Upon a Time in Russia" on TNT. Also, together with the regular participant of the show Azamat Musagaliev, they recorded several joint songs for the show.
