He studied at an art school. He graduated from the St. Petersburg Institute of Culture (specialty - drama directing). He attended Courses in directing feature and documentary films (class of Prof. Aranovich). He graduated from SPGATI (class of Lev Erenburg, specialty - directing). Staging of the plays "Handicraft" (based on works by Cortázar, Gogol, Shakespeare, "Intestudio," 1994) and "Duty uplnik" (a play based on a play by Martina Kinski DAMU, Prague, Czech Republic, 2000).

Co-author of the screenplay and performer of one of the roles in the film "Happy end" (dir. V. Lanne, Czech Television, 1998). (FIPRESSI Prize for best film, FAMU FEST, Czech Republic; grand prix for best film in the nomination "On the road," IFF Trencianske (Teplice, Slovakia); grand prix of the festival "Pure Dreams-4" (Deboshirfilm-2001, Russia)).
