Biography

Pavel Priluchnyy was born on November 5, 1987 in Chimkent, Kazakh SSR. His father was Valery Del, a boxer (died when Pavel was 13 years old). His mother is Lyubov Yuryevna Priluchnaya, a choreographer. He has an older brother Sergey and a sister Elena. From childhood Pavel studied choreography, vocals and boxing. After his father's death he moved to Russia, to the city of Berdsk in Novosibirsk Oblast, and he moved alone, without his mother. In his youth he practiced boxing. During training he suffered about ten concussions. In 2001, at the age of 14, he became a candidate for Master of Sports of Russia in boxing and gave up this sport. In Novosibirsk he worked as a courier and loader, and at the same time enrolled in a choreographic school, but soon left it due to financial difficulties. After that he entered the Novosibirsk State Theater School (V. A. Akhreev's course; free tuition), which he graduated from in 2005. In 2010 he graduated from the full-time department of the directing faculty with a degree in Acting at the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts (GITIS) in Moscow (Sergey Golomazov's workshop). Immediately after graduating from the institute he was accepted into the troupe of the Moscow Theater on Malaya Bronnaya. He then worked at the Moscow Pushkin Drama Theatre and at the Bulgakov Theatre (Bulgakov House). He gained wide fame after the release of director Pavel Sanaev's action film Hooked (2009), in which he played the role of Doc. In early 2010 he appeared in the sequel Hooked 2: The Next Level. From July 2 to August 19, 2011 he took part in the program The Pinochet Couple on the NTV television channel. In 2012 the actor had otoplasty. In 2014 he starred in the lead role in the gripping detective-crime television series Major, as the rich kid Igor Sokolovsky, who unexpectedly ends up serving in the police operations department. For this acting work Pavel Priluchnyy received several professional awards, and on January 8, 2015 the newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda called the actor the discovery of 2014. In October 2016 Major, which had high viewer ratings, became the first Russian series whose broadcast rights, under the title Silver Spoon, were acquired by the American service Netflix. The success of the first season of the series prompted its creators to release two sequels, Major 2 (premiere on November 14, 2016) and Major 3 (premiere on October 29, 2018), with Pavel Priluchnyy in the lead role. From September 16 to December 23, 2017 he was the host of the entertainment show Kings of Plywood on Channel One.

In 2009, information was published in a number of media outlets about Pavel Priluchnyy's short romance with Hollywood actress Nikki Reed.

On the set of the television series Closed School (2011-2012), Pavel met the actress and model of Latvian origin Agata Muceniece. On July 19, 2011 the couple secretly married in one of Moscow's registry offices. On January 11, 2013 their son Timofey was born. On March 3, 2016 the couple had a daughter, Mia. On February 24, 2020 the couple announced their divorce, and on June 15 the divorce process was completed.
