Biography
Cinema for Roman Mayakin is a way to make life more interesting. Perhaps that is why the actor has such a diverse range of roles — from a drug addict to an investigator, from a biker to a real estate agent. He is ready to act in projects regardless of genre, but between family and work he will choose the former. Roman was drawn to the acting profession by a school romance. The girl he liked studied at a studio attached to the Noginsk theater. The smitten Mayakin followed her there and got hooked.
The love passed, but the theater remained. When Roman finished school, he had not the slightest doubt about his choice of future profession. At the Moscow Art Theater, Roman entered the class of People's Artist of the RSFSR Alla Pokrovskaya, who played the mother of Vladimir Vysotsky in the popular film "Vysotsky. Thank You for Being Alive," and of two Honored Artists of Russia — Roman Kozak and Dmitry Brusnikin.
